Well, half of acne is caused from sweat and stress… or rashes.
Just wash your face with face soap, not bar soap. Bar soap can be bad for your skin on your face (because it is so delicate).
The acne will go away after a while.

Proactive Solutions, it works really good, I bought the two month supply and It lasts way more than 2 months. As long as you use it everyday you will see results.

one of my friends he had super bad acne. Nothing was working (ProActiv and stuff) he used like a bar of soap and washed his face with it. idk. but it worked well for him. my skin would get all dry if i did that.

well i’ll tell you something i discovered
different things work for different ppl so you may have to try several before you find one that works for you.
but i will suggest a few:
benzagel –it is very drying, but it does work. (about $7 drugstore)
drying cream, drying lotion, by mario badescu (www.mario badescu.com). i just bought some today it was $14. for the cream, works tho. esp on old acne scars too. cream in the day, lotion at night. lotion was around $20 (canadian). if you fill out questionaire re your skin type, he will send free samples.
what else, when i was a teenager i had severe acne, the dr, put me on a cream and pills tetracycline was one, forget what the other was, vitamin A i think. you could check on that if it’s really bad.
i would stay away from clearasil, i don’t know anyone that it actually worked for.
i heard pro activ worked for ppl.
xp: green tea? does that work? i drink it sometimes.

No over-the-counter treatments work, people just think they are because the spot heals on its own. But the ingredient salysilic (spelling?) acid is supposed to be good for spots so look for that on the label if you are going to invest in any as they are the most likely to have an effect
If you are having trouble with acne then go to your doctor, they can prescribe antibiotics which work very well for most people.
And remember only squeeze a spot if it has a ‘head’ (white/yellowish colour) Squeezing a red spot only pushes the infection deeper
Good luck

Well to be honest you’re going to have to spend at least $5 or more for some good acne medication. I’ve used Zap-it!® Acne Treatment Cream by Melaleuca, Inc and it literally started working overnight! I’ve suffered acne for over 15 years and have used every product from the store that you can imagine, but that stuff is the best.
